Maybe. But we don't usually deregister players. We kept Darnell Fisher registered last season when we had a full squad.

He's a good player, keen, hungry. Top flight experience and wants to play. 68 first team appearances for Leicester and Sheffield United in the Premiership. He's 23 in June.

With O'Brien and Engel I'd have thought left back wasn't a priority
But as @TheYorkshireTerrier says Smith and Lenihan could be removed to free up 2 spaces in the 25
I guess if Bangura is removed that would show it's a season ending injury
Of course if Rogers goes that's a space too
Apart from other outgoings I'd guess Bilongo would be the other, but I'd hope we don't have to deregister anyone not injured or leaving

There's still the possibilities of the McNair sale and Gilbert out on loan too. I just meant it would have to be an out before an in.

Luke Thomas is a good player with potential and far more experience in the Premiership.
 
He's always looked good when playing for Leicester - good signing if we get him. Seem to recall him playing right back on occasion also.
 
He was linked with the mackems a few weeks ago. There was a Leicester fan on their board saying he’s absolutely shjte. Make of that what you will. Can’t recall seeing him play myself.
