Luton Away next

I think we will struggle against Luton, or Millwall for that matter.

Teams like that will just go long to beat our press, initiated by our front 4 plus 1 midfielder.
It then becomes a straight fight between our defenders and their forwards.
A fight I'd struggle to back us to win, meaning we are relying on our front players to out score other teams and get us out of trouble. When we have came up against organised, solid teams, this hasn't happened.

You're aware we've beaten both under Carrick, right?

At home.

We may very well beat them both again, but as I said, it is the one area of the game where we are weakest.

If hull could finish, we'd have been 3 down at half time. For all our excellent team attacking play we do give teams a chance. Sooner or later, a team is gonna take those chances and are going to be good enough defensively to shut us out.

I fear that will be against a long ball type team for the reasons i stated above, and I hope its not in the away leg of the play offs, with a full house behind the home team.
