Making stuff last a little bit longer

I've just done the highly satisfactory double of merging the last sliver of the old soap bar with the new one, and getting the last of the three extra washes out of a Fairy Liquid bottle you can get when you think it's empty. Any others?

ive just heated up (boiled kettle water & a deep bowl) 4 close to finished Honey jars and put them in the one pot, enough for 2 weeks morning toast now.

and recycled the left over pots.

you will get a wash out of the cap - just take it off and throw it in under the tap

Yep. And you'll get another wash with what you get from rinsing out the empty bottle.

Those sponge scourers you use to clean the pans....cut them in half with a pair of scissors. You only ever use a small bit of the scourer anyway. Makes the pack last twice as long

Toothpaste tubes and sun cream bottles share a very odd feature, the last squeezes and shakes last longer than the whole of the rest of the bottle/tube.

When no sauce salad cream etc coming out the bottle put a tiny bit of water in , put the lid in and give it a good shake and you'll get another portion out if it

I cut the top off the oat milk cartons in our house and use them as plant pots for my seedlings. Saves me buying plastic ones each year.
