Marcus Browne Instagram Story

Seems to be in a good place lately, hopefully he comes back and plays a key part.

We'll be flush with midfielders soon too.
 
His career here has been stop-start, and the serious injury was at a really bad time, just when he was looking useful. Lets hope we see him this season.
 
Where had this obsession with a player who had done absolutely nothing for the club come from?? We’re seeing almost daily threads on this forum about him. He’ll have more threads than club appearances before long. The idea that he’ll somehow morph into a superstar next year is utterly bizarre!

I kind of agree with you, I haven't seen anything in marcus browne to suggest he will be good for us, under woodgate he was struggling and looked slightly better under Warnock but was way behind Marvin Johnson

The thread is about him being out with a player we're heavily linked with signing and the fact he's implying he's trying to convince him to join?

Hardly an obsession, it's transfer news.

That's not what was pointed out though.
It just seems like the poster didn't understand the purpose of the thread and was annoyed that a fringe Boro player was mentioned.

Love to see what a good 20 plus games Marcus will do in a Boro shirt, he could, 'coin the phrase', be like having a new signing (y)

It was his 28th birthday yesterday so this next contract will be the most important one he will ever sign.

My issue with out of contract players is just how late they are prepared to leave it before they make a decision. Maybe that's got to do with agents I don't know.

He really should be in pre season training now putting in the hard yards and getting to know his new club and team mates.

We're clearly in for him and I would trust NW's judgement on this as he's seen him play and must have been sufficiently impressed 👍

He’s a quality midfielder to say and acknowledge that we are interested in him is good news.
