I guess so. Fisher and Clarke do occasionally get a mention but Ameobi was just airbrushed out of history.
 
My God - I forgot about Matt Clarke.

I had high hopes for him - I thought he looked decent in those first couple of games. Sad if he has a career ending injury - I wish him all the best!

yeah the injury he must be a career ending one almost to have the club let him leave with 1 year left that they will no doubt have to pay out,

I'm guessing maybe the insurance has paid out on him for them to do that, he's not signed for anyone since which if he has had an insurance pay out may be a condition of that pay out that while the insurance pays his contract out that he cannot return to football.

the contract would be up end of this season
so if he does not sign anywhere else, that pretty much tells you its game over for lad.
