Matt Clarke?

He could be 'like a new signing'. He was player of the year for the last 2 seasons at former clubs.

Also an actual left footed CB (I sound like Wilder 😂). Hopefully gets fit.

A proven and pretty experienced champo CB. He's a reputation as being a CB who can play out from the back. You'd think that would suit Carrick.

Not good enough even if fit. Carthorse.

Everywhere he has been the fans have rated him so there must be something there. I am pleased he was injured as in his last game he was running like he needed a zimmer frame. He surely cant be that slow when back to fitness, if that happens. Hopefully he recovers and shows us what he is really like.

Let's hope so, if we are selling one of the other CB's he will be essential over the season.
We need a fit CH who can play every week when required . Mcnair leaving possibly , Fry been out long term , Clarke out long term , Lenaghan needs a settled partner who is an upgrade on all 3 .
Over to the recruitment team .

I really hope we can get him back fit because him and Lenihan will be excellent together. He isn’t suited to playing as an attacking centre back, as Wilder tried to do, but as one of two CB in a back four he would be a real asset in this league. The four previous season before last proved that. Hoping to see him back training next week.
