His attempted header whilst lying on the floor in that goalmouth scramble in the second half was funny but also shows his commitment to the cause. He could easily have been booted in the head.

Hobbling at the end - I hope he is OK - otherwise we will have no recognised centre backs at all.
 
Soon to be in to the last year of his regular contract.
I'd definitely be activating his extension and making it clear he's a key part of the team.

He's been a proper solid player for us since coming back from injury.
 
Only thing missing from his game is pace......but if he did have pace he probably wouldn't be at Boro.

He’s brilliant, I’m not sure he has many haters though.

He and RVDB have to be our defensive pairing or with Paddy in a 3.
 
Matty Clarkes head is a magnet to the ball, in all my days I have never seen a player win so many headers.
That man will run through a brick wall and head a cannon ball dropping from the sky.
He puts his body on the line time and time again…he is going to be a fans favourite.
