When this young lad joined us his hair was terrible.. having since been sent out on loan and kept behind the scenes.. it is no surprise that with the departure of a club legend.. that it seem Matt Crooks has passed on the secret mixture of balms and oils to another tall Matthew our ‘Sycamore Gap’ is looking to be filled with a 6’3 sapling..

We should have used him against Sunderland, he may not be much use yet in terms of winning a game but his sh1thousery and time wasting skillls when he did play last season were spot on.
 
I’d be all for giving him a chance but I’m pretty sure he’s not playing as it will prevent him from being able to play for an MLS club in the coming months

I don't think this would pose a problem in regards to a move to the MLS for him. I think there's an exception in the rule in relation to seasons that overlap, I.E. We're in the 23/24 season, and he played for San Jose during their 2023 season that began while we were still playing 22/23 and ended during our 23/24.
 
Definitely on his way. He's not playing so we can loan him out.

I presume that would be end of his Boro career (for what it is). I think his contract is up in the summer?
