Can we do something slightly less disrespectful to the fans..

Red and White striped home kit maybe?

If the social media fall out is anything to go by then the club have kicked a hornets nest.
They don't care. At all.

Because they know, come mid March, the majority of fans will renew...... despite the protestations and being thoroughly p*ssed off about the whole situation.

Only way they would react is if the ST EB renewals were down significantly. Even then.....🙄🙄

The thing is, I can’t for one second think that the club - Gibson, Bausor, Helena Bowman or Yvonne Ferguson - wouldn’t have expected this backlash. They cannot be that naive and just assume that people will renew regardless?

The deadline is bizarre, but I’m certain they’ll extend it. Maybe they always planned to, just to show how much they care.

Im sure they extended EB one season due to poor take up (probably strachan/mowbray era)

The club used to have a marketing strategy though ... its in the blood etc etc they even sent out a DVD one season (i might still have it somewhere) I think Wheater was the face behind the promotional guff

They always had a slogan of somekind .. this time they've just took the pi$$ and said here are your prices which are still a saving on match by match prices ... so bloody what?!

This is the 2nd increase in about 7 seasons isn’t it - my council tax goes up every year as does most of my other bills. I’m not sure what people are expecting 🤷🏼‍♂️
Council Tax is a necessary evil, an expense that home owners have no choice but to pay through gritted teeth and grumbles.

The Boro is a personal choice about what to spend your disposal income on. There's no competition with a Council Tax rise you pay it or break the law. However there are plenty of competing options for the wedge you would have shelled out on the Boro. I think a fair few might spend that cash elsewhere next season, and the danger of the Boro's pricing strategy is once someone has given up their ST and found something else to spend the money on, then it's going to be extremely difficult to win them back.

Even the email…. Jesus wept! I’ve just had to read it again to see if I’ve missed something.

But no, it’s pretty cold. Looks like it was worded by AI rather than a human. Yes we all know buying a season ticket is cheaper than buying match by match.

How can it possibly have been approved to go out like that?

Very Poor from the club .
Raising prices ? To watch Boro reserves most weeks ?
Early renewal BEFORE most people get paid .
Selling the assets ( Rogers ) and not replacing him .
Injured strikers but no replacements ?
Crooks out , but no replacement? ( they knew it was happening before the window shut )
Letting Mcnair run his contract down ?
I love my club but I feel let down by those making decisions .
They are so out of touch with the feeling of the fans , half the fans were in the concourse on 35 minutes it was that poor .

Nope it really is that cold

Cough up or fk off is the gist and oh if you are paying up get a move on.

As I said I’ve had warmer gas bills

So far, there seems to be a bit more disposable income around than the bad old days of the 80s. Maybe inflated by a lot of retirees having money in the bank and bringing the grandkids, or those well paid working for the Government in one capacity or another.
I’m sure that will change post general election though and some have to make changes.
