SundayWhen’s renewal date?
I hope they're not going to announce it tomorrow and use the play-on-words of 'Good' Friday to announce it.
I thought about that but it would seem a bit weird if it was actually true.Or an April fools gag if they announce it on Monday
F@&k the tide. Fans are too impatient and a fair portion are reactionary luddites. If we sacked a manager every time the loudest fans demanded it we would be WatfordWow, didn't expect that.
Shows that he is still popular amongst the fans and isn't being blamed for a fairly rubbish season.
Interesting move by the club though, if we have a good transfer window but then start next season badly, the tide would probably turn on him and he'd be due a nice big pay off.
Well I don't disagree, but if we were languishing in the bottom 6 in November I dare say a fair few would be concerned.F@&k the tide. Fans are too impatient and a fair portion are reactionary luddites. If we sacked a manager every time the loudest fans demanded it we would be Watford
Good move by the club. We need stability, a consistent philosophy, a long term strategy not lurching to a new idea at every hurdle
Doesn’t mean he will be here that longHas signed a 3 year deal
Most managers wait 70 mins. The trouble is he is still learning the job at our expense like waiting until 70 min into a game to make a change.
Not a chance this has happened. If it had the club would announce it as soon as possible for the impact on season tickets
No contract in football is worth more than the paper it is written on.He said at the start of March he wanted to stay at the Boro and carry on his work, but I cannot find anything online [today] which confirms he has signed a new contract......unless anyone has a reliable source?
I`m interested: does anyone know where the rumour started? Source? No contract in football is worth more than the paper it is written on.
