He's played 38 games this season for Barnsley.

My Barnsley Notebook choice was the Goalkeeper Brad Collins.
He's just been named player of the season.

Let's hope the MFC recruitment team read my posts or even offer me a job 📖✍️

I brought him up a couple of months ago as a potential big unit to either challenge Fry for the central spot, or replace Fry if he were to be sold.

Helik in and Fry out would probably boost our coffers by about 7m+ helping us get those forwards that we need.

Helik is an excellent defender by the way. Barnsley's best player for the last 2 seasons. 6 foot 3, old skool, head it, kick it and if you can't kick it them type of player. Another right footed CB mind. It would definitely indicate Fry or McNair out for me.
 
4 CDs competing for three slots seems a touch short to me (particularly now Wood has gone). Wouldn't surprise me if we're looking to have 5 players for those positions.

well at the mo we have Dijksteel, McNair, Fry, and Hall. Assuming Hall goes and Lenihan comes in, then we still have 4 options but all right footers. So maybe we will keep them and add a left footer? What would surprise me is any of those being happy at being a reserve. If we signed Hilek 2 of them would be reserves and we still wouldn't have a left footed CB.

I wouldn't disagree, but, I guess the idea is to have 3 proper big double-hard b'stard CBs on the pitch, you might get away from one, but can you get away from the covering one?
