Mixed Covid Vaccines

I hear that since I have had two differant vaccinations (AstraZeneca, and Pfizer) that I still have to self isolate for ten days when I arrive back plus get a test after 2 and 8 days. If this is the case it is pathetic! Is this going to change or do I now have to get another jab before I come home?

Not very happy about this at all as what is the point of coming back to be stuck in self isolation for ten days

I did not realise that any countries were giving out mixed jabs as yet. Where is it that does this?

I doubt that anyone will check up on you - just ignore it.

Where did you have your vaccine?

A lot of people will soon be getting mixed vaccines with the third booster shot if they all get the Pfizer or Modrrna vaccines.

Alberta, Canada
The fact you have had mixed vaccines is not the main issue here, it's that they have been administered outside of the UK. Getting another vax before travelling here won't help your cause I'm afraid

It's the same for close contacts having to self isolate: you must be over 18 y 6 mo, be double vaccinated both in the UK, the latest being more than 14 days ago and they must me MRHA approved

We have similar issues with international students returning to uni
