A local lad who stayed with a broken bankrupt club that was languishing in the third tier. He took on the club captaincy at 22 years old and led us back to the top tier of English football.

This site is named after him.

Those of you who weren’t around when our club was locked out from Ayresome Park just don’t get it. Mogga was our hero not just from the standpoint he captained our team he was such a talisman and spokesperson for the club and the whole of Teesside. I don’t care where he’s at right now he’s Boro through and through — an absolute hero in every sense of the word.

Totally agree with you M26M. I can't stand the bloke now. HIs behaviour after the Blackburn game did it for me.

There's people at Wilko who didn't jump ship before this week.

Don’t see what Cattermole done wrong to get some stick today… he played a lot of games for Sunderland, so he has to show them a bit of respect. He was very fair to both teams in his punditry.

I struggle with Mowbray. Yes I know all of the stuff that he has done but the way he acted after that Fry incident left a sour taste.
