Muniz may not be going to Fulham?

If Muniz was our number one striking target we still have £5m + transfer kitty to buy a striker there must be other targets we can move onto quickly because if we do not succeed we are in for a poor run .

He's a kid, made a mistake, went to Fulham on a promise, didn't work out, I'd give him another opportunity to come good for us. I'm guessing it will be a loan. If he's rubbish then we didn't waste our money on him, Fulham did.

If we go up and fulham come down, then we can buy him for 10m, and Fulham have effectively spent a year acclimatising him.

If we go up and Fulham stay up, well he won't want to sit behind Mitrovich next year if he's had a year playing for us.

Yeah, I'd rather he just signed for us last season, but I'm being pragmatic and looking for a silver lining to this. Fact is were nowhere near ready to go up last season. This year, I'd like to think we will be in a better position.
 
If i was him last year, i'd have gone to Fulham too. London club, better chance of promotion, probably higher wages etc it made sense to him.

Now he realises he's never going to get ahead of Mitrovic, he understands the leagues here a bit better, so he isn't against coming up North it seems. Give him a chance, no hard feelings for turning us down whatsoever.
