Just coming up with new euro competition ideas.
What if they kept their european league idea, but to compete you have to leave the domestic league? You are then, for a season, competing solely in this euro league. Play everyone home and away, like a domestic league - expensive following a team away for this. Usual amounts of teams from each country qualify. At the end of the season everyone but the top 4 return to their domestic leagues and go again trying to get back to this euro league. That way the teams that have done well, deserve to compete again. The others dont have this super league safety they tried to implement.
This would give more teams a chance to win their domestic league and also to qualify for the euro competition.
The uefa cup could be that euro leagues version of the fa cup for those teams. Keep them happy with the number of competitions they take part in.
There will defo be flaws in this plan. What are they? How would you solve them?
