Nathan Wood

He got muscled off the ball at one point by Ryan Giles, the smallest player on the pitch.

Can't say I saw anything impressive, couldn't in his first team appearances here either, but he's still very young.

I thought he looked good on the ball, but there was several occasions he was dispossessed easily or tried to dribble but ended up giving the ball away

time to toughen up for sure .... played some nice long passes and looked comfortable on the ball ... easily turned tho

Something went wrong with us, had so much potential

From what I've read, it was that he refused to sign a new contract unless he was guaranteed proper game time.

Instead of losing him on a free, we sold him.

I genuinely thought he'd be a mainstay here in a few years, but I can't say I'd have him starting over any of our defenders right now.

Deffo needs to toughen up still. If Watmore was bullying him god help him against some of the more physical forwards around in the championship.

His confidence with us seemed to be shot after Michael Smith for Rotherham completely dominated him.

This exactly. Can you imagine him coming up against someone like Mitrovic?

What game were you watching, he was god awful. We targeted and attacked his area of the pitch constantly. He never won 1 single challenge against muniz and lost 50/50's against watmore and Giles! I'd have loved for him to come through the ranks and be great but he is weak as pi££ and the ball looks like a timebomb when he has it.
I think that strength will come.
