Well, no, but as has been mentioned not many drivers have spoken out against racism either. The sad thing is, that whilst he's racing for red bull, he's not out on a limb.So having had 48 hours to ponder his response and take advice from his PR people, the best Max can come up with is the equivalent of "he may have used a word he shouldn't have but he's a lovely non-racist really and therefore it would be wrong to punish him".
He's out on a limb on this one as no other driver has sought to defend the racist scumbag.
