Nonalcoholic Beer (not lager) advice

I've found heineken blues the best despite not being a fan of heineken.
I love moretti but the 0% morettis are terrible.

Maybe try a non-alcoholic version of something you don't normally drink would be my advice!

I re-read the thread title and realised you wanted beer not lager advice. Doh!

Do not under any circumstances get the Non-alcoholic version of Old Speckled Hen (it's in white and blue tins).
Tried it once, and I can only describe it as akin to sucking on a mouthful of 2p pieces.

RANK.
Nailed it, absolutely terrible stuff, like cold tea with a slightly sweet toffee taste.

Guiness? didn;t realise they did one. I find alcohol free tastse awful and gives you a headache within the hour normally.

Becks blue was indistinguishable from the alcoholic stuff.. Guinness is good and I’ve heard good things about non alcoholic Gordon’s gin.. lots of friends seem to be moving onto that over other stuff.

I’d go for the Guinness

The non-alcoholic Budweiser they do at the Riverside is decent enough, that's probably my favourite out of the few I've tried.

Avoid Becks Blue (to be honest I can't stand normal Becks).

Just a technical point, if you note that the beer is listed as 0.5% alcohol it is probably alcohol-free but has not been tested so they must legally describe it as 0.5%. This is only a problem if you are abstaining on religious grounds I guess, as I doubt you could drink enough of even 0.5% alcohol to fail a breath test!

This same question was asked last month so plenty of answers in there:

Personally Guinness is by far the best I've had. Next would be Erdinger.
