On Sky to state we have latte out and Coburn on the bench because he is carrying an injury

WTF 🤷‍♂️. If that had been Chelsea they would’ve been crying for them

He couldn't believe what he was seeing Neville with our defending, playing it out from the back. Everytime Glover or Clarke took a 2nd or 3rd touch he'd gasp for air as they were being closed down.

When Glover gave Fry the ball who had his back to him and a chelsea player 5 yards away from him, in the 6 yard box, i'll never know. I like the possession football but these lads need to understand where and when that's possible.

Spoken by a very smart and successful manager 🤣🤣🤣🤣

In fairness we didn’t have those forwards for the first leg.

I think it would have been a bit odd to go on about our “missing forwards” when the main issue was that our defenders kept passing it to Chelsea’s forwards in their own penalty area.

We are a decent side in the championship and, over two legs, got battered by Chelsea. 6-2 flattered us.
We were cack in the 2nd leg

What on earth is the point of going on about missing strikers.

It’s not as if we lost Messi and Haaland

I do agree with you about this, we have had threads with posters banging on about the players, Carricks set up and tactics, Jordan Hughill’s assault on Jones, the recruitment policy, the unbridgeable gap between the championship and the prem….

We got beat in a bad half of football away at Chelsea who had subs who cost more than our squad, I don’t think it’s worth dwelling on beyond getting it out of your system.

Coburn played the whole match after Lathe went off didn't he?
Ah yeah, forgot about that as he’s also been injured recently.

I still don’t think it changes the narrative much, if that was to be pointed out prominently. Our forwards weren’t the problem on Tuesday.
