How on earth do they manage to stay in the premier league ? It's like watching a Sunday pub team.
They'll still scrape survival with Bruce though. Toon fans will be radged come to the end of the season when he'll still be there I think 😂 .. Fulham are 3rd bottom behind them with a game in hand 7 points off them .. could get interesting if the gap gets smaller though if Fulham starts picking up wins haha .. I think Toon will just manage survival mind, as I said. Despite how bad they look

Fulham v Sheff Utd coming up, so that gap could be just four points and a game in hand.

They have a huge fan base, a brilliant stadium but an owner that could not give a dam. I cannot believe that a new owner cannot see the potential. The likes of Wolves and Leicester have managed to get foreign owners who have invested and got them to push for stardom.

Really it’s a huge monstrosity really not style or finesse with horrendous sight lines.

spurs new stadium it ain’t
hardly brilliant, Trainguy, anyone sat towards the back of the Leazes End is a full pitch length away from the centre spot. I’ve heard geordies complain that you need binoculars to see the Gallowgate End goal.

They'll probably survive by about 3 points, the fans will bleat about ambition and being a giant of a club that should be in the champions league. They'll talk about a boycott, then the club will buy some second rate attacking players from France or Holland and then the fans will cave and sign up to watch another season of 4th from bottom mediocrity.

That Joelinton is awful, he played Gayle tonight but plays him out wide, very strange....they should have enough to stay up but it's enjoyable to watch Hahhaha

They’ll stay up fairly comfortably in the end simply because the league is such poor quality at the moment.
What a shocking way to run a club though, shows their level of ambition when they have left Bruce with the job for so long. Big clubs aiming for 17th every season is absolutely grim, if I supported them I would have lost any interest a long time ago. Must be a right kick in the teeth that former championship and league one clubs have caught up with them and are currently a long way ahead.

You can say what you want about the Geordies and I’ll probably agree with you but there’s no denying it’s a great stadium on the whole.

Just look like a side that's going through the motions. They know they are safe and realistically nothing to play for. No fans getting at them it's made easier.

They are awful and in other seasons may have gone down. They are 'lucky' that they have 3 worse sides.

Despite all the Rafa loving they look very similier. They take on 'bigger' sides with no intention of anything other than damage limitation (as do 80% of the prem sides)
