Yes, I get that, but once you get past 30 or 40 years ago, fans are in their 50s and 60s. We call them trophy virgins, not because they've won nowt as a club, but because 95% of fans haven't seen them pick up a trophy. They're a lower prem, top championship side over the last 50 years

300 is twice as much as he’s paid

I can ask three million for our house, it's only worth that if someone is willing to pay it. I suspect he has put at least some money into it over the years otherwise he'd maybe take £200mill to be done with the hassle. And you have to offset it against what he could have made simply by sticking his original investment in the bank for however many years it's been. It can't be much fun being unable to show your face at the football club you own without getting dog's abuse.
