Of the free agents and 'realistic' targets...

Diédhiou is probably our No1 big lad target. He's free so we can probably throw a few quid at his wages.

The fact he's not scored since against us (standard😂) probably helps. I don't read to much into that as always looked useful when I've seen him. Also probably done a Britt/Fletcher and seen his ****.

Mowett would be amazing but I think better clubs with more financial power will want him. You'd think a side coming down would look at him.

Adam Reach is worth a punt but we've not been linked.

James Collins at Luton. He's 30 but had 2 good seasons at champo level. Isn't he Northern Irish? Paddy and Sav can put a word in

*update... I've been informed that Collins is Republic of Ireland so not much chance of Sav and paddy putting in a word😂*

I don't think Mowatt is mobile enough for our midfield. Technically he's good, and he works hard, but he's too similar to Lewis Wing by not quite quick enough to cover the ground. He's a slightly better version of Jacob Butterfield in my opinion. We need another player similar to Tav to play on the right of a midfield 3.

I doubt we'd ever line up 4-2-3-1 under Warnock like.......

So sign up Mowatt, NML (out on a whim here hoping he comes good), Bolasie and Diédhiou.

Plus, a first choice keeper as Warnock obviously doesn't fancy Stojanović.
Another centre back for cover, another left back to cover Bola, a starting winger full of pace and goals, a back up winger and a Poundland version of Diédhiou to act as cover.

Wouldn't want Diedhiou now.

He's done exactly the same thing at Bristol City since January as Assombalongs has done here.

Sooner have somebody who actually tries.

Look at Bolasie, he's out of contract and putting the graft in to get himself in the shop window, even if it's not here.

Quite liked centre back Smith from Rotherham and tall centre back from Oxford we were linked with . He looked good vs Newcastle in Cup last year . Collins and another taller physical target man would be good...but not glatzel
