Ok let’s look at the positives

Haven’t rated him since day one. Praised him in the odd occasion he has played well ( can count on one hand) but in the main. Every fan knows he’s been a shocking signing and isn’t good enough.
Apparently he’s a lovely footballer with a great passing range. This is despite struggling to knock the ball sideways of late. The word these people are looking for is sparingly.

Agree with you 100%, he's had a few good performances and he can pick out a brilliant pass but he's overall awful, having 1 good performance for every 5 bad ones, or playing 1 brilliant pass for costing us 2 goals isn't the mark of a good player. Really poor signing

He can pick out passes like Paul Schools, unfortunately in between his occasional wonder passes he plays like Bambi on ice
Agree. At the risk of sounding like a pile on, what else gets me, and plenty of others in midfield, particularly of late, they’re so weak and lightweight. It comes across as a lack of desire but I just think they’re feeble and scared to get hurt.

Sons U10 team came from 4-1 down to draw 5-5. Unlike Boro, superb second half comeback.....that's my footy positive for the day.....

It gives us a good insight into what the next 10 seasons will be like. Mid table rubbish. Even in the middle of an injury crisis we sell our better players.
But hey we have got some more money in which has cheered up a lot of supporters . Its all about the model and hopefully we will still stay up once Carrick gets another offer and he goes.
The club runs at a significant loss like a lot of clubs just to stay still, people expect someone else to put significant amounts of their money in for pleasure and success of others whilst at the same time complaining about ticket prices and lack of investment, whilst many stay at home leaving thousands of empty seats, everyone has to do their bit if they expect success. We could however get lucky and build a successful team for a relatively small amount or it may take time to develop one, people can't have it always.

Yeh I agree, the only player (apart from the defenders) who seems to relish a tackle is Greenwood, he can be annoying by leaving his foot in sometimes but the lad genuinely puts his body on the line and goes fully into tackles

We are well set financially for next year.
IF Gibbo is happy to waste another £39m of his hard earned.
Neutral on FFP last year and this.
Maybe we are going to go for it next year?

vdb gets better every game
I think he had a hand in both their goals (gave up chasing back on the 1st & then too late tried to get involved when the guy turned round, on the 2nd just backed off from well outside the 18 yard box rather than close the shot down & then bounced about on the edge of the 6 yard box blaming other people for not getting a challenge in rather than wondering why he's travelled 15-20 yards backwards) and his relative lack of composure under pressure / poor passing from the back (I'd Engel to that as well) is contributing to teams seeing a benefit to closing us down & trying to win the ball back high up the pitch.

I think the VDB experiment is over & we should have McNair back in for a few games to add more experience to a fragile backline.

True but let’s not kid ourselves Bristol c could easily have been 3 up after 20 mins.
BC should've been 1-0 down after 10 mins.
Don't know why Hackney tried a chest control, dribble, mis-hit left foot shot rather than just nodding it in to the bottom corner.

After that they could easily have scored 4 in the 1st half though.

For me I will be at Preston and Leicester unfortunately. After that i think my away games for season might be at an end. Gibson, Carrick and the club seem to have given up so I won't be wasting anymore money this season.
Next season however

Not really any positives, just another example of how badly this club is actually ran. No chance of any success on the pitch with the shambles off it

Get ready for a very long time in this league
