Agree - ultimately only 3 teams can go up each season, did I expect that to be us this season? 100% not and my view hasn't changed.
I think the rebuild required at the club has been underestimated by some. We've probably only done 15%-20% of the work so far. New manager in the summer then realistically we'll be looking at 3-5 years for promotion (in my opinion).
Given there's very little chance of us going up, the only time I'd expect Gibson to act is if there's a real chance of us going down (Warnock's appointment being evidence of that in itself) - we're not there (yet).
We may see an appointment in January but unless Gibson changes his views on "poaching" managers I think it's unlikely. That said, I can't believe Scott would have agreed to join if he was to be working under those self-imposed, anachronistic restraints.
