It’s astonishing so many gullible but decent people have fallen for his tricks and media propaganda and are prepared to ignore the details and turn a blind eye to the alleged massive corruption.
You’d think Brexit would have served as a great big massive **** off ‘BUYER BEWARE’ warning to people, but the media still manage to fool enough decent folk in to voting against their own best interests.

Look at the business plan estimates for traffic figures. Yea Covid came along but they're estimating made up figures basically that will never be achieved in those timeframes. Peel are universally hated but their numbers grew for 4 years before the financial crisis and we are talking growth from 700k to nearly 1m. The current growth numbers are only just higher than some of peel's worst years yet they're miraculously going to get it back there in a couple of years? No chance.
It is immune to public scrutiny because it has never been fully public owned - stobart had 25% and they gave up their share - why would an experienced operator give up 25% of an airport with potential? At least that meant we'd be able to scrutinise the operation
But no, just in time to avoid that the 25% share was set up to Goosepool, maintaining the veil of secrecy
This is what happens when you get away from the rubbish Teesside media - Ben houchen is one of the gazettes biggest ad spenders plus all his Facebook ads plastering his fibs everywhere

People have talked about Houchen becoming an Independent, but could he possibly try to defect to Labour? Especially with a GE looming and the fact he's surrounded by Labour councillors?

People want to believe the positive things they are told. When the press and other media are captured then they hear no alternative views so it all the easier to believe the mono-rail salesmen. Most don't have the time, means or inclination to search for actual information on what is going on.
