Over 13,000 Season Cards

Haha. No Idea you had a big family!
Your son should soon be ready for a gentle introduction to the Riverside , but your right bit to rush into it.
I took mine just before his 6th birthday for his first game, but didn't take him regularly until he was 8 or 9.
I think I might take him to an Ashington game first, less distance if he doesn't enjoy it but more importantly he gets the pityacker dialogue best at the moment

How many if we go up? We’ll be capped off surely
The 28,000 was total attendance including non season ticket holders and away fans.

QPR this season we got 27,500 with 500 away fans - it was not a special game - possibly a few hundred on the gate because of half term.

We have moved beyond the Karanka era in terms of attendances.

The resof of our home games will be over 28,000 this season.

If we go up, we will most likely sell out most weeks, in the championship I reckon 28,000. With sold out away ends aswell

Just looked at available season cards.
Only 147 left in the SW upper.
Compared to 337 seats available for the Hull game!
Something is happening.

Hopefully we can finish this season on a high. 'The Carrick Years' feel like they are going to be special. From Liquidation, The Riverside, Cup Finals, Relegation, Promotion, League Cup Win, European Cup Runs, European Cup Final, Relegation, Promotion, Relegation.. on our way to Promotion again with plenty of giant killings under the belt and on the way.

I don't think you could have picked a better team for drama!! Not many fans will get to see those highs and lows over a 40 year period.
I get the feeling the Carrick years are going to be short personally. I think he'll be gone one way or another within a year.

Am not so sure - he is as collected and controlled in his career as he is with his management. I get the impression he wants to build up carefully and loves the way he is learning on the job at a club he really gets. I have bene lucky to meet Michael Carrick, Steve Gibson and Kieran Scott all together very recently and it was evident they all have a very good professional relationship but also appreciate each other so much. Michael Carrick is also loving the rapport with the players and also with the fans. Also, do not underestimate the relationship between his own Foundation and MFC Foundation - this is really important to him. He told me that he had wanted to form a Foundation from early on in his career - it means a great deal to him.

His name's already been thrown around at West Ham and Spurs. I only see that interest intensifying if things continue on the same trajectory. I just hope we can get what we need out of him before he leaves.

I'll set a reminder in my diary for the end of the 1st quarter 2024 ;)

If we go up and come a few months into the season are above West Ham, and they sack their manager, it'll be hard for him to say no. I hope im wrong.

If I managed west ham, and Boro were below (& were a bigger club, bigger ground, bigger budget etc like west ham have) and Boro were struggling and I felt I could help, then I'd want to go back home
West Ham isn’t home though. Keeping Boro up is a bigger achievement than getting West Ham into mid table.

Absolutely - I’ve seen a lot of rubbish over the years but also all of the highs too.Been a massive part of my life going to the match.

I’m sure I’ll still go to the odd game and can always try and get a season ticket in future but for next season I’ll be watching at home.

Must admit I’d been thinking my last live Boro game would be a play off victory at Wembley. Maybe it won’t come to that but it would be a pretty spectacular farewell!

If someone moves seats, when does their old one become available for sale? I've heard lots of chatter from South Stand ST holders who've renewed but moved to the North instead, but it looks like their old seats in the South have remained unavailable for anyone else.

We don’t want those whippersnappers in the North Stand thank you.

Sometimes a bit too much weight is put on a player's or manager's previous clubs. Both players and managers move on. Although Carrick played for West Ham and Spurs, he only really talks about his time at ManU (obviously the longest by a long way and most successful). If we go up, I can't see him going anywhere next season or probably the season after, especially if we stay up. Let's not wish him away - we're enjoying good times atm and long may it last. We've got super michael carrick!!

Carrick's reply to the question at 17:46 in yesterday's press conference doesn't sound like he's the sort of bloke who'll be off to the first 'bigger' club that comes calling.
