Does anyone know what the current and past situation is with him.
And before you start I don't think he's the answer to our problems.
Did he want to leave us in the summer or did Wilder just think he was that shoite he wanted him out ( "he's not my player , hissy fit ")
Likewise has there been any communication with him with regards to him returning, does he even want to return or does Carrick want him .
If he doesn't want to be here cancel his contract take the hit and move on .

He's on loan at Boca Juniors till June, and they have the option to make it permanent.
It's possible we have a recall option for January, though there's no mention of that anywhere official.

There's been no public communication about his situation since he was initially loaned out.

Seems it was his decision to go back and the club wanted him to go to a european club on loan.

I don't think we'll see him in a boro short again if I'm honest.

these are the questions that should be asked at the presser....

He can't play for us for another 2 months, so what would it achieve asking about him now?

Carrick's got bigger problems to focus on than a midfielder who he's never met and who cannot contribute a thing until the 1st of January at the very earliest.

What I don't get is the Argie season seems to run Jun to end Oct and it's now finished. And his loan is until Jun , so what does he actually do now ? Get involved in club community issues and have loads of months off. I've done a few searches and can't see what NOV to next Jun involves for a football player in that league

I could be wrong but it sounds like he doesn't want to come back to our beautiful Island or our club. Beside's we already have an inexperienced Brazilian at the club and look how that is working out for us.

Argentina almost never pick anyone who plays in Argentina. He isn't a starter for Boca most of the time so he isn't going to get anywhere near their world cup squad.
I thought as much, didn't know how much he'd started for Boca this season but thought if he'd totally spearheaded their campaign maybe it wasn't out of the question. But doesn't sound like he did. :)

Sure I remember reading an interview with him saying he hoped to saty at Boro if not get a loan in Europe.

Not sure why people keep saying he isn’t when he now is.

AFAIK, they have a round robin cup competition that starts in February, which is a minimum of 14 matches, up to 17 if you reach the final, effectively a second league.

But the English language information on the Argentinian league is surprisingly sparse.
