Pet Shop Boys

Going to see PSB tonight in Leeds, cannot wait! I've always liked them and wanted to see them, but their set at Glastonbury last year had me searching for tickets! They were outstanding!

Always on my mind is my favourite, im glad they bowed down to public demand.
I don't know if your's are the same, but our tickets said that the entertainment started at 6pm with the Pet Shop Boys on at 8pm.
We got there for 6pm but the 'entertainment' was an empty stage with random 70s and 80s music through the speakers for 2 hours.
Hot dog was nice though.

Yes it did

Bit of useless trivia… the song was recorded for a Elvis TV special with artists singing Elvis back catalogue songs…

The pet shop boys had no intention of releasing it as a single but bowed down to public demand.

The video for the song is also good and stared Gary Linker, Graham Taylor and many other famous people
Another piece of trivia - I believe the reason they didn’t want to release it is they tried to get a Jamaican steel drum sound and couldn’t get it close enough.
I always pick up the vibe when I listen to that song and others realised shortly after.

Went to the gig @ Leeds arena tonight , they were simply outstanding ! 2 hours of greatest hits done brilliantly with a spectacular lighting backdrop. They’ve stood the test of time and still sound amazing … daughter loved it too.

Yes thanks. Wouldn't say I'm suddenly their biggest fan but I did enjoy the show.

Bonus Question for any Pet Shopsessives out there - where did the name Domino Dancing come from?
(Apologies if it is common knowledge but it was a new one to me)
WASN'T it about playing dominoes whilst on holiday , or something like that

Yes. They used to play dominoes every night when on holiday (in St Lucia?). Their friend kept beating them and would do a little victory dance every time - The Domino Dance.
