So far can’t see we’ve been linked to any except the bloke going to qpr from spuds?

Ben Woodburn is being linked to pompy and Ipswich, anyone know if he’s any good?

Old Neil saying “we want quick answers or we look elsewhere” is a bit like Gibson saying “we’re want to/going to smash this league” - probably in hindsight out of our control.

To be fair that was for permanent signings and that is maybe what we are doing. I think he mentioned two of his wanted signings were PL loans and he wouldn't have an answer till the 24th didn't he?

I doubt any decent loans will be even availible until September (possibly late Sep) . Prem squads will see who they buy before deciding who to loan.

Think Warnock publicly said we were looking at a prem one as our No1 target and he's not available until the 24th. Gibson or maybe Roberts?

Also plenty of new managers about and all players start a fresh and given the chance to impress. I think it's more about the players available on a free.

If you look about its not just us who ain't doing much. Forest and Stoke seem to be bringing in frees. You look at a lot of these players and they are usually wrong side of 30 or injury prone. Usually a 'reason' they are now clubless.

Still some bargains to be had. Just think some of the ones already picked up ain't much better than we have and a bit 'meh'.
