Let's go for 1 player per post if you are a seasoned autograph hunter!

My all time favorite was being in mcdonalds in boro Town centre with my sister and the little fella sits on the table opposite, he signed a couple of napkins for me, I was 12 at the time and it was one of the most surreal experiences of my life.

I’ll go for the first one I ever met And I’ve said it on here before:
Lived next door but one and went to school with Stan Cummins, I remember when he signed for Boro, it didn’t seem like a big deal.

Woody when he was at spurs. It was actually a double meet of stars (well one maybe stretching😂).

I was on the train up to Darlo from London and I saw woody on the train with a real head of hair. Just said hi and he was chatty enough and going up to Newcastle for a weekend.

I was waking up the platform at Darlo and he'd got off and he was hugging some really tidy girl in Armarni spray on jeans (I like a designer label so notice). It was only Kate Lawler fresh out out the Big brother house👍

Dickie Rooks every other week for 3 years once I found out he lived near me when I was 9. Gave me his autograph every time and just said see you soon as I left.😁

Had a pint with Paul Kerr in a pub in Northallerton, late afternoon/early evening pre season. Really nice bloke, spoke really well of the rest of squad apart from Peter Davenport.

I met Robbo in a bar after a Man Utd league cup semi final. He was with a couple of former team mates. I said you should sign for the Boro, he said you never know son, and a few days later he did!

Met the whole team in Athens airport after the Egaleo game during the European adventures. They stopped to chat and for photos.

Michael Owen, Neville Southall, Stanley Matthews and Jamie Carragher over a strange 3 days in Stoke in 1999

Wilf Mannion 3 times

Once gave Emo a lift to Leeds and other stuff. Juninho.

Accidentally stood on Festa's foot in the Burberry factory shop in Whitby. He was out injured at the time, injury to the foot I stood on.

Pak Do Ik and the rest of the North Koreans in 2002.

Alan Peacock a couple of times, my hero as a kid. Cloughie. Bumped into Mendieta in Boro Sainsbury's.

Jairzinho (1970 WC winner, that Jairzinho).

When it comes down to it just ordinary blokes who have special skills with a football. And a few characters :)

I was flying back from Heathrow with Botham sat next to me, I did not realise how big he is, enormous. Chatted about the book I was reading , 1984, no wine as were both driving, a really nice bloke.

20 odd years ago my ex (not a football fan) went to the Riverside to buy me something from the club shop. Never having been before, she approached a guy walking across the car park to ask directions to the shop:

"Excuse me, do you work here?"

She said he "sort of smiled at me in a funny way and showed me where it was".

I said "Did he give you his name?"

"No".

She described him, I picked up a copy of the gazette and she immediately said "That's him there!"

Bryan Robson.

The relationship didn't last long after that.
