Pre season friendlies ??

I was going to Oberhausen but I cant afford to do that and go up north the following week for my nieces wedding, I am hoping the opposite for you then I might stand a chance of getting to a match ;)

Whoever it is one thing I would like to see is us playing our starting XI for the majority of our last two friendlies. I’m sick of this splitting the squad between two games or playing a different team in each half.

Agree I know new players came in but outside of training they hadn't seen much time together, I think MC was still trying to work out players and the best team but they should have had at least one whole preseason game together and they didn't t even have that before the Millwall match.

I said this last season, we don't seem to use preseason to get most of our first team 'at it' and then are surprised when we start the season so slowly. Does my head in

Of the ones over recent years I enjoyed our trips to York and Chesterfield to play Betis and also the November trip to Hibs.

I really hope we get a trip to Holland but most likely they will play behind doors games in Portugal like most clubs these days, followed by an uninspiring home game v the Middlesbrough equivalent of a French / German / Spanish team.

I wouldn't like to.play either of the old firm at home, for one reason or another the headlines will be about what happens outside the ground or in the stands but I still prefer playing them to Newcastle and their owners.
Wouldn't mind Borussia at home or Royal Union Saint Gilloise.

Would love to play one of the Old Firm.

Hopefully the trains don't strike this time, still annoyed about missing out on the Hibs match because of that.
