Im certainly no expert but the first thing I’d of done if I was boss is sit them in a big room with a big screen and make them watch it beginning to end . Then boldly stand in front and ask “ thoughts “ ?its all those hard hitting, feather ruffling, moral searching questions you ask Rob - Neils giving you the slip after satda's sporting termination of a display.
i'm jesting, no doubt he has them in doing back to back training sessions and 11am was the only slot available - players were probably being weighed on the 'speak your weight machine' he bought in from a hard hit un-named English resort of renown.
It was switched at less than 5 minutes notice actually. I wasn't looking at my computer at the time and didn't even have it switched on. Boo.
Never mind. The match is the important thing not the press conference.
“ Look , how I see it “ Gets thrown in and don’t forget the pitch ? We couldn’t play our flowing footballCan’t see anything of interest being said. They have been pretty rubbish recently. Will say something about the Norwich game about 4 months ago, how poor the referee was against Blackburn and say the words not really and are you with me on 7 occasions.

Sorry about shooting the messenger ( you ) Rob BUT “ growing pressure’s and needing to relax “ They never broke sweat and oh it must be dreadful for them poor little souls .He has said before how he would often surprise other managers in the way he reacts to defeat.
Rather than bringing the team in early for extra training and a dressing down he sometimes tells them to take a day off and relax. He feels sometimes the players need to recharge away from the growing pressures and regain their confidence.
I don't know if he did this after the weekend.

A good proportion of the population don’t even know if they’ve got a job left after Covid , and he gives them a day off . He knows an infinite more than me but I’d of had them in first thing in the morning and worked them like hell
YesWe all understand your frustrations but I'm not sure what relevance people's job security post Covid has to managing an elite sports team after a defeat. What's he gonna say? "You lucky boys having a job, now run around harder next time and make it look like you are trying!"?
Love that idea, maybe they could then see the frustrations we have to deal with. The basic errors we made in that match are so infuriating.Im certainly no expert but the first thing I’d of done if I was boss is sit them in a big room with a big screen and make them watch it beginning to end . If that's the case they've had most of January and February off then.He has said before how he would often surprise other managers in the way he reacts to defeat.

“
brit - how many times was he offside
keeper - how many times he kicks it out of play
midfield - how many times they gave away daft fouls
wingers and wing backs - how many crosses hit the first man
throw ins - how many they just threw the ball to the opposition”
sums up football under NW
Block 21 can see your drift but do you not just think it’s because most of the teams are dire . Look at top of the table with results of last 5 games behind them . It’s appalling and we’re as close to bottom 4 as we are top 4 .Yet we are still 7th 6 points behind the team in 6th with favourable fixtures towards the end of the season. He must be doing something right

Really hope you’re right and I may get shot down here and I hope to hell im wrong but I think NW has had enough . He has never been the same after that Blackburn match and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s thought “ you know , I don’t need this “Oh don’t get me wrong, the league is worse this season than it has been in gone by seasons that is a given. There is plenty of teams on our tails now because of our recent results but we are still in a position where we can have a successful end to the season thanks to our work in the first half of the season from Warnock and the players. Of late Warnock has made strange decision and some of the players look woeful and we are missing key players. A couple more defeats in the next 2 and I think that will be the final nail in the coffin but we are still in within a shout at the moment I just hope Warnock has found something to get the lads going again.

hope I’m wrong but he has done what he came for so can leave head held high
