If it’s that bad there are stretchers availableThen again as he was actually injured it would have been pretty cruel to make him limp right around the ground.

Didn’t hear it in the north.
The linesman had to see round the goal, net and through the keeper! she was 30 yards away and was looking straight at it. That was a very amateurish decision. And a ref defering to their lino in that circumstance is poor.I was in the north.
Plenty of middle aged men screaming things like "Stupid F***ing tart" because her linesman got a decision wrong.

Because he can't see through their keeper, the way he dived blocked the lino's view to some degree. Don't get me wrong, it was poor from the lino. But the ref was looking straight at it.For a corner?
How is somebody 30 yards away meant to have a better view than somebody directly in line with the decision.

I was pretty far away in the stand, as was literally every fan there, every one could see it was out by a mile. She can't see the line from 30 yards away.
The official who's actually meant to judge these things said it wasn't out.

If a ref can't see the line from 30 yards away, they need to retire.
A compotent, confident ref should have overuled an incorrect call from a lino.
The ref isn’t in the stand and doesn’t have an elevated position. She is, what, 5 foot 8 and 22 yards away and not looking down the line. She can’t make the call with certainty.I was pretty far away in the stand, as was literally every fan there, every one could see it was out by a mile.

And this is why there are Assistant referees, although the final call is from the refereeThe ref isn’t in the stand and doesn’t have an elevated position. She is, what, 5 foot 8 and 22 yards away and not looking down the line. She can’t make the call with certainty.
Good job there wasn't a foul just inside the box, couldn't possibly give a penalty if that's the caseThe ref isn’t in the stand and doesn’t have an elevated position. She is, what, 5 foot 8 and 22 yards away and not looking down the line. She can’t make the call with certainty.
Could have been 3 if she had given that corner!!!We won 2-0
Yeah. Or it could’ve altered the whole course of history and we get beat 0-5.Could have been 3 if she had given that corner!!!
We definitely would have scored.Yeah. Or it could’ve altered the whole course of history and we get beat 0-5.
Such a crucial mistake

If it was out, it was marginal, in no world did she have a better view than the linesman.
If that had been a man, the stadium would have raised a mild whimper.
