Red wine under a tenner?

No fault.very interesting.....I wonder how much better wine is in the UK if you pay £15 +
Just FYI we buy glugging, reasonable quality white and red for around 4 euros a bottle. Slightly better stuff for around 6-8 euros. Then the most we normally pay is around 10-12 euros.

Mainly paying at the higher price for red wines.

We can get some decent Ribera del Duero red in supermarkets in all 3 of those price ranges.

In Carrefour in Palafrugell they often have localish stuff on offer at 2 bottles for 7 Euro and its pretty decent, not amazing the sort of thing that might be say £10 a bottle in the UK

M&S no21 is a great Rioja priced £10 a bottle… my favourite

MARQUES DE CARANO GRAN. RESERVADO From Tesco is great and an absolute steal at the moment for £5.75 with club card

Burdizzo Chianti Riserva From Asda is a good one too and reasonable on the wallet at £7.25
