Richarlison kick-ups

Unsure why such a big deal is being made of this today (and yesterday).

Might be slightly disrespectful at worst but not convinced they should still be discussing it on SSN. And no different to Jones doing kick ups before their red card.

Because they have little else of interest to talk about. No doubt TalkShyte tomorrow will discuss it as well.

Don't really see the issue, the ball was still in play, wasn't it?

I'd actually say it's different to what Jones was doing because of that, and perfectly fine.

He's done nothing wrong.
If he'd been stood shielding the ball by the corner flag, nobody would have batted an eyelid, and that's more blatant time-wasting.

Because if it didn't happen in the premiership,it didn't happen.Remember Rooney scored an overhead kick for Man Utd and moftd raving about it.Same day Albert scored one against Leeds at Elland Rd and it was disallowed because Warnock pretended to be injured, walked off rubbing his laughing.

I'd need some of the pearl clutchers to explain to me exactly which law of the game was being broken before I could get too vexed by this.

Is it any worse than say a step over? Not in my opinion.

Players shouldn’t get so worked up over it because that’s why they’re doing it. Look at James Morrison’s foul on Ronaldo as an example.

Yes shocking decision that

If the balls in play then I don't see the issue. Yes it's maybe 'taking the p*ss' yet nothing in the rules to say you can't.

It's no worse than being nutmeged or holding the ball in a corner to waste time.

I can't remember if they said anything about Morrison smashing Ronaldo 😂

Its a p*ss take but done for your club you love it, done against us we'd demand someone snap him. We'd love to see Muniz doing the kick ups, and equally we'd love if Lenihan snapped someone doing it against us if we were 2-0 down or whatever. It's a football game. He was showboating, its the other teams job to get the ball off him and put it in his net, that would have shut him up. Carragher had a right whinge on Sky but he's always slating Richarlison

Correct Vestas. Out of the two it was probably Jones wasting time that was in the wrong and he may have got a booking had the guy not went in to him.

Just watched it on YouTube. I have absolutely no idea why anyone is bothered by it. He didn't do anything wrong. The biggest 'issue' with it is that the Nottingham Forest player made sure he fell on him after the other Forest lad had taken him out, but didn't get a booking.

Carragher saying "he winds people up that lad, he certainly winds me up," is precisely why he should be nowhere near a commentary box. You know what winds me and loads of others up, "Carra"? Spitting in people's faces.

I thought kicking the ball and retaining possession was a key part of the game. Nowt wrong with that.
Would you think that if we were 2 or 3 down and an opposition player was doing it while their fans were ole'ing? I know i'd be p*ssed off and desperate for Howson or Lenihan to snap them and take the booking but i agree 100% its part of the game, just when its against you you hate it.

I think I’d prefer to see opposition wasting time like that, where we should be able to do something about it, rather than going down like they’ve been shot by a sniper in the north stand every time someone brushes against them. One is fair play one is cheating. And if it was our player doing it I’d chuffing love it.
