Right, Port Vale then

With Port Vale ground being just 20miles from MC's house/estate do you think he'll just 'meet the lads there' on the early evening . There'll be no real training Tues morning of any note so it's just an organise and travel day and can't see him coming over just to get on coach and come back the same journey.
Won’t there be a press conference tomorrow?

Port Vale Football Club wishes to make supporters planning to attend Tuesday night's Carabao Cup Quarter Final against Middlesbrough aware of the following:

Police presence

Due to the high attendance expected at Vale Park, Staffordshire Police will have a larger-than-normal presence at this fixture.

They have also decided to include police horses and police dogs in their operation. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask an officer in attendance on Tuesday night.

There will also be a police drone flying over Vale Park ahead of kick-off, again this is nothing to worry about and if you have any questions please speak to an officer on duty.

Allocated Seating

We would like to take the time to remind you that Vale Park is an all-seated stadium, with allocated seating. On the majority of matchdays, we can offer discretion when it comes to this due to the available seats within the stands.

Due to how busy this fixture will be we wanted to ensure you were aware that we will be asking you and other supporters to sit in your purchased seats, to comply with safety regulations of the club and to ensure the best supporter experience.

We also would like to advise you to arrive earlier than your normal time so the club and supporters don’t experience big queues.

Closure of Driveway A

The area between Synectics Solutions and the stadium perimeter, commonly known as Driveway A, will be closed in both directions for access to home and away supporters from 6:15pm on Tuesday.

This area will remain closed until the end of the match and will only be reopened once Bycars Lane has cleared of the majority of away supporters.

This decision has been taken in conjunction with Staffordshire Police on the grounds of safety and to support segregation requirements. Any supporters who wish to use this route to leave the stadium at the end of the game are welcome to remain in their seats for a short period until the area has cleared.

Supporters leaving the Railway Stand at the end of the match will be asked to leave their stand and follow the steps down in the direction of Hamil Road.

The Pedestrian Gate on Car Park D giving access to and from Bycars Lane and the Training ground will be closed before half-time and will remain closed for the duration of the fixture.

I feel it's a real potential cup upset this game now. I would play Dieng in goal, he's going to be sat on a bench in January not doing anything for a while and Glover will be getting 1st team experience for us then. Dijiksteel needs 1st team runouts, and I would brink Clarke back in for Fry, try to keep our defence as solid as possible. I'd swap Rodgers for Crook and Silvera for Greenwood, I'm not sure what to do about Howson, He needs rests but who do you bring in for him?
Unfortunately there’s a very high chance Glover will be away on international duty most of January too

Any inside info on parking? I’m in the day off to be there early brigade and I would pay the official if necessary but it seems a bit steep.
Depends what your interpretation of steep is, I have pre-booked through the PV website at the Dimensions sports centre close to the stadium for £8. People have already laughed at that, but most away games it’s anywhere between a fiver and a tenner if you want your motor to be in a secure environment. Good luck with finding a space somewhere.

Has anyone got a "cunning plan" on how to watch a stream tomorrow night?

Seems ridiculous that we can't even buy the game off Port Vale or Boro as a stream.

I've used YourParkimgSpace and paid £2.50 to park at Asda 20 mins walk away.

There were decent streams last time round. It's on overseas so should be ok this time I reckon.
