Riley McGree signing?

I must admit Siliki was a signing that I was excited about when it happened but it just doesn't seem to have worked for him. Warnock claimed he was unfit the whole time he was here and I'm not sure he fits into a Wilder side even when he is fit.

I think think view was that he wasn't a NW signing, but on reflection I actually think he was.

He's got a history of signing leftfield players from France hasn't he? Can't remember where I saw this though?

Not true! He hasn’t had a chance and he should be the howson cover as a minimum
He’s played champions league, he just needs a run of games but how do you give him that when we are winning

That is the extent of his Champions League experience.

He only started 3 league games in the entire season too, and only played 7 in total.

He was not getting a game in France either, playing a game in the Champions League does not automatically mean you are a Champions League quality player.
 
sounds a decent player but after a quick google looks like he is heading back to his parent club in the MSL not sure where the Boro connection is coming from USA

The fact that we are linked with midfield players doesn't necessarily mean that JLS is being sent back to France.

From what I've seen he looked OK, he gets up with the play and would suit the CW system, as o e of the two more advanced midfielders, although I don't think he'd work as the deeper one ie Howsons role?

Yes might be anywhere in the 3, but my point is JLS hasn’t had a real chance and the NEW scouting system must of seen enough to bring him here which is good enough for me but then he needs a chance and people like @TeaCider just write him off (just chavvy zero football knowledge ‘fans’)

Just because I pointed out that Siliki wasn't playing regularly for Rennes and he didn't excel in the Champions League.

Ironic that you're the one showing zero football knowledge there, and acting like a child at the same time.

Agree with that, the first time he came into the team I thought he looked like he had a bit of promise. Mobile, decent on both sides, can get up with the play and I think he'd get a couple of goals.

He doesn’t need anything. He needs to earn his chance. He may just not fit what Wilder wants. And as for calling another poster Chavvy because of a comment about Siliki. Utterly bizarre. Get a grip you doyle
