Riley McGree

On his day he's the best player in the team. Just feel he's a bit injury prone. Same with Forss.

If an offer comes in do we sell him? Might be better to take the money than have him sat in the medical room for half a season again

i heard the club were looking into their training facilities, since we moved training pitch and such we have been getting loads of similar injuries to our players. they think it might be something to do with the surfaces changes. obviously mcgree has suffered more than most

Yes, Gibson confirmed at the Q&A that work has already been done.

Heard the same via someone who knows someone on the medical team (so usual pinch of salt) a lot of hamstring and similar injuries from a new 4G pitch. Apparently some sort of newly developed surface?

Well if he's wanting to stay after all, Id be glad to get him signed up again.

Do we think the injuries are down to injury prone individuals, or a failing in the sports science department?

If it's the latter, changing individuals isn't likely to change the injury record.

Glad to hear they have identified a possible reason for our injuries, never seen so many long term absentees as we have had this season. Let’s hope the pitch changes make the difference

I feel like he wants to stay it’s just really dependent on if he’s offered a new deal. I’d like him to stay as I’m a big fan but him and Forss really need to start been a bit luckier with injuries!

Interesting to see Brian English the club doctor walking to the Riverside after the match yesterday. Looked like he'd been playing squash. Would have thought he'd be there on a match day.

I don't recall a crunching tackle on Bangura or Latte Lath, being on the "training pitch", unless we've started training at the Riverside.
That's a myth.
