Riverside Welcome for Mr Warnock

NW, and quite a few of the squad, haven't had a full house Riverside welcome yet.

I'm guessing at mid-20,000's for Bristol City - first home game of the season, post COVID restrictions etc. I would love to see the place bouncing for everyone's sake, not just fans, staff, stewards, etc.

I'm old enough to know better, but I'm excited already.

C'Mon the mighty Boro.

I know many will disagree but I always found 'We shall overcome' to be our original anthem and it would be fantastic if it was sang as the game kicked off next weekend.
I agree, that is a heart-rending tune and would fit perfect.
Its ironic that the song is a civil rights song about the fight for freedom and the right to belong.......to have an identity, to live as one.

Deserves a standing ovation for last two years. Kept us out of league one no doubt and worked wonders with ever decreasing numbers and having to deal with Bausor. Thank you Neil.

Are you actually privy to anything inside the club or do you just slag Bausor off on here constantly for fun?

Some people are still worried about Covid and others lost their income during pandemic. Clubs who furloughed staff are now paying 100m on players. It’s little wonder fans aren’t flocking back.

I was discussing this last night. Professional sport whether than be nfl, football golf etc, where the world is literally burning but billions are passing through sport, it just doesn’t sit right with me at all

It's been said before, we have a season ticket model, if walk ups are only slightly more money then people don't buy season tickets. In the past there have been times where if I didn't have a season ticket I wouldn't have gone to the game. That's why walk ups are expensive.

Of course a season ticket has to represent value for money but I think £30 for an adult and £17 for under 18's is just pricing a lot of people out altogether. Not everyone can commit to a season ticket. I can't due to work commitments but I will still go to say 8-10 home games a season. For myself and my 8 year old lad thats almost £50 every game. It's too much.

It is expensive for walk up, but its £40 in the Family Zone for adult and child. It was £45 @ Fulham so its not just the Boro that are expensive - unfortunately.

Over 65s don't do as badly though - £21 tickets available.
