It's been said before, we have a season ticket model, if walk ups are only slightly more money then people don't buy season tickets. In the past there have been times where if I didn't have a season ticket I wouldn't have gone to the game. That's why walk ups are expensive.
It's why there'll be lots of empty red seats for a long time to come, as people say no and find other matches to watch. Once the habit is broken it's harder to pop back at those prices.

I tend to find it easier to buy a season ticket than fork out for individual tickets . We neeed the place full hope we find a way wether that’s via good results or people just decide to back their team

To be able to lower walk-up prices, you must first lower season ticket prices.

It should be £380 early bird, which works out at £16 per game, and then £25 an adult ticket. This way, it's highly likely the majority will continue to renew, and if the team's doing well then it's likely you could add on an extra few thousand to the average attendance.

I remember the season under Karanka, we were pushing for the play-offs and there was a real buzz but we were still only managing to average around 16k. That was because many fans just weren't prepared to pay £30.

At the minute walks are slightly less than twice as much as the equivalent season ticket cost. How can that be right in a place like Teesside?
