Roy Keane talking to Sunderland ..

Keane's always been interested in going back into management, and to be honest, Sunderland is the only club where he actually looked like he knew what he was doing. League One is his level too, so could be a good fit. Better than watching him squint in disgust every Sunday because Manchester United are **** now.

woodgate would do well there i feel, didnt do too bad at bournemouth,i feel he certainly will make the grade eventually, even if boro fans want him to fail, good luck to him i say
Not wanting to come across as having a dig at you personally bud but your blind support of Woodgate is so obvious.

He was awful for us and was given a golden ticket at Bournemouth which he never delivered on.

Reading through the reports it says Keane has been looking to get back into management, but I have never got that impression from him, personally. Just surprised it is Sunderland he is choosing if the reports are to be believed. Putting a lot on the line going back there, has his work cut out! He will be in the spotlight constantly after a long time out ... was shocked to read it is 10 years or so since his last job. Doesn't seem five minutes!!

Always been a big fan of Keane, personally hope he stays on the punditry side and turns the Mackems gig down.

They are in a weird situation, though. To be in that position yet take a pounding by Bolton that way last weekend. Seems there are big problems behind the scenes. Personally, I hope they find a way out of their troubles currently, whatever they may be. I would like to see all the North East major clubs back in the top leagues. Boro, Sunderland and Toon back in the PL one day would be fantastic to see. The derbies would be magic, soul would return to the game of which it has lacked so much for too long now.

Keane, Woodgate, Warnock or Bruce.

Poor Sunderland
Scattered list that with the only thing in common that they all know where Sunderland is, but I reckon in the position they are right now, Warnock would do great for them this season and probably get them up.

Isn’t their owner 25 years old? I can see Roy Keane’s withering stare already.

I dont want him to fail & TBH I dont think other Boro fans do either, fans have stated he wasnt good enough, which he wasnt, thats not wanting him to fail more of a fact
