Rumoured team

Crooks can't play in the hole. Silvera does not appear to be championship standard.
But at least mcgrees playing and it will be interesting to see O'Brien in midfield.
Good to see Josh. I think our malaise is almost entirely down to akpoms absence. Hopefully coburn will make it stick up top a bit better and we can build attacks.

The thing I like about Silvera is hes not afraid to have a shot, which the rest of our team when outside the area dont seem to want to, but agree not yet upto standard, but well prepared to see if he develops, which is the clubs alleged transfer strategy.

Joint top scorer this season.. he always looks a threat.. he gets goals!

Coburn looks to be a solid 1 in 3 striker.. 4-4-2 two big lads up top? What's everyone complaining for? This is what we all voted Brexit for isn't it?

The New Tarmo Kink!

For me the only position worth faffing with is right back because the only two seniors are injured. The rest of it, just get the best players out and into their best position.

Carrick never chopped and changed last season. I understand there are new players to bed in but to me he’s making it harder for himself.

Get Forss in. Get O’Brien into the midfield. Choose your left-sided wide man and your No10 and let them find a rhythm. Choose your striker and let them play their way into confidence. You can set your watch by Coburn being replaced by Latte Lath on 60-65mins tonight even if he’s scored.

That said, I predict a 3-1 Boro win. Piece of p*ss.

I was surprised we gave Crooks a new contract because while I like him as a player it is very obvious that he doesn't fit in our system anywhere. I assumed it was a club decision to keep him as a decent option off the bench when e need a goal so I'm even more surprised to see that he is a regular starter. He is not, and will never be, a number 10.

Hackney would be a huge blow
yep, it will be, I actually hope if crooks is playing it’s deeper in midfield then to replace Hackney. I don’t mind him in midfield he’s always done a decent job just not at 10 or upfront.

In Sheffield now just been told that Hackney, Forss and Bangura haven't travelled. Don't shoot the messenger.
A midfield 2 of Howson snd Obrien should at least provide the defence with some cover. Be interesting to see whether the OP has it right or your info is correct

Think it's a bit harsh ..
He's a 1 in 4 / 1 in 5 goalscorer, who's really a midfielder playing out of position.
He's a solid mid table championship player; in a season of transition or rebuilding, he's EXACTLY who you need.
An honest pro, who's liked in the squad and happy to be here.
