Seems a nice guy, just a really poor footballerThe hostility is wrong but we dont need him so now or June he'll be leaving

The stakes are high when you invest a lot of money in a key position footballer. No issue with Britt the fella, however he's just not lived up to expectation - like many footballers - & now he's in the wind down phase of his contract he's just not really on his game (when we are trying to push for a playoff place & can't be done with players not on the same page)
It's not just, or even, the goals from Britt that has disappointed its the ratio of good / average / poor performances - the good were few & far between. When he signed I did wonder if his injuries would cause him to be less effective & injury prone though he's been fine on that front - it just seems to be motivation - nice contract: relax & put in just enough..
Problem with contracts is they reward up front & leave the less than motivated to be able to coast through it Özil style..
Who would pay £3-5m on top of his high wages? Nobody has that sort of money and his record with us has been pretty poor the last 2 seasonsFrom the clubs finances point of view. How have we let our record buy leave for free. Was there really no takers in the summer for £3-5m?
No one is questioning his personality.Seems a nice guy, just a really poor footballer
Can amortise a fee too, so a saving on this P&L yearDo we know for a fact how much Britt is on a week? Lots of figures bandied about but is it actually known what keeping him at the club till his contract expires will cost us?
If we sign a replacement I can see us letting Britt go with no fee if someone picks up his wages between now and the end of his contract. The sad thing is there are not many of the type of clubs Britt will attract who can pick up all of his salary for the next six months - hence my question about his actual salary. The deal for Diédhiou would have to see us paying a fee and signing Diédhiou on a permanent basis (500k) which would help Bristol City pay Britt’s wages I suppose.
Doesn’t matter, they are both in the same direction, just set off nowSo which do I set the sat nav for then...,Bristol or West Bromwich
If he is still here on Tuesday we can kiss goodbye of any chance of a transfer fee and he will leave 6 months richer for playing very little football. He cannot loose.
Tav didn't cost £15mIf we had bought him for 3 or 4 million it would have been a good deal. 15 million though. Jesus.
He gets far too much stick because of it. Both him and Tav missed a ridiculous ly easy chance this season. No one mentions Tav. Britt had about 15 threads.
Also, Tav is not an out and out striker, but there again neither is BrittIf we had bought him for 3 or 4 million it would have been a good deal. 15 million though. Jesus.

Don’t forget to throw in the banjoI heard it's a bid of £1,950,000 plus 50k for the 3 year old barn door we had installed that has no Mark's on it .
