Ryan Giggs - Guilty or Innocent?

It’s a strange one, seem to be some gaps in his ex partner’s story (losing the phone etc…), well exploited by Gigg’s lawyer. Instinctively he seems a horrible fella to live with, infidelity etc…., but I think it will be a bad day for domestic violence groups if he’s found not guilty as I suspect he will.
 
very grey this case, I think he has done some of it but some of it has clearly been exaggerated or lied about, truth seems to be somewhere in the middle of both versions for me.

Too many grey areas in my non legally qualified opinion. Bit too much "he says, she says".
Has definitely come across as a misogynistic bellend, hope he will never get another job in footy again ......but being sent down? Hmmmmm.

My guess is not guilty from the bits I've heard due to the threshold of having to find him guilty beyond all reasonable doubt.

I think his lawyer has muddied the water enough for the jury to go with not guilty.

He's come out of this with his reputation in tatters though.
 
I work in law enforcement and have had a feeling throughout that he will be found not guilty. Coercive and controlling behaviour is notoriously difficult to prove in court and from reading the evidence it doesn't appear to me that the prosecution have succeeded

I think the Jury will find him not guilty, given the British public's approach to anyone even semi famous.

So in the eyes of the law he will be innocent, but he will remain a total douche scum bag of the highest order, and hopefully never to be in the public eye ever again.

I think he should get additional time for those love poems!

His QC Chris Daw is excellent at his job, I've met him a nunber of times, both professionally and socially and he's a good guy.

And his solicitor Ian Lewis is a massive Man Utd fan, although I'm not sure will have any bearing on matters!

I'm going guilty on some charges, acquitted on others.
