Saka

He’s a very good player, is he as good as some of the hype? He could be but not sure yet, only time will tell. Ive seen him have some phenomenal games and others where you don’t even notice he’s on the pitch. It must be hard for the lad to build on that consistency though when he’s playing in different positions all the time.

To me he has a lot of similar attributes to sterling but already technically better at just 20. He does have good games and then goes missing but he is only 20. I would love to see him in a better team. I think he would be a great replacement for sterling at city and would really improve there.

yeah he is very good with loads of potential, tbh if anyone should be in the overrated book I would say it is Grealish flatters to deceive great on the ball but seems to go down a few blind alleys also upsets the pattern of the team

Suppose the only thing I can offer in Tom's defence is he's not a particularly graceful player (like Foden or Sancho even) but style counts for nothing. Great close control, fantastic burst of pace and good decision making.

The fact he's trusted to play in so many different positions at the level he's at shows he a very intelligent player too.

Yep, I had to hold my hand up about Declan Rice, I couldn't see why he was getting a game for England (erm also Kalvin Phillips) yep we all get it wrong from time to time. ✋
In fairness at the time that opinion was fair enough, it’s all easy with hindsight!

With Saka though he’s been brilliant for England for a while so this is a very bizarre thread!

It's no mean feat to make yourself a regular at Arsenal and England by the age of 20 - he's a top talent and will get better and better.
