Sam Greenwood

i was thinking that yesterday. 'what is he here for? what does he offer? not seen anything at all. hes very average. i'd like gilbert to get a run so we can have a look at him.

Before I get pelters for writing a player off after a couple of games - I really can’t see what this lad brings to the table. Surely if he isn’t good enough for the dirties he shouldn’t be good enough for us?
I hope it’s a try before you buy sort of deal.. as you say why on earth would we develop a young player for a direct rival?

Think he was brought on yesterday due to the fact he won’t be involved on Tuesday cos he’s cup tied.

Rogers will probably start on Tuesday.

Greenwood does feel like he doesn’t quite fit in the side at the moment I must say.

Not impressed with what I've seen of him. I thought when he came on he wasn't up to the speed of the game.

The question that I have is "do you want to be here?"

Loan players can be fully committed like Cameron Archer or just making up the numbers like Dave Kitson, we shall see...

I assume he is doing better in training than when he gets on, he’s not doing anything wrong just not really doing anything.

He does look fit and mobile though so maybe he will come through.

I think a lot of Prem ‘background’ players are like him these days, you are not quite sure what they bring.

I thought yesterday was an improvement on his Sheff wed showing, as he actually touched the ball in open play this time.

Small steps.

I like him and think he'll play a big part this season although admittedly from a slow start.

As with a few players who play multiple positions I think we've found it tricky to fit him in.

His best chance of a start is probably as 10, whereas he's likely a backup option for MF or CF

Between the two I would rather be developing Rogers who is our own player, rather than giving game time to a player who is more than likely going back to Leeds next season.
