It was decided well before his first few seconds of action for us... he got slaughtered for swinging on his chair in his signing press conference and that was enough for some fans to declare him worse than useless!
I think a few fans, me included to be honest, wondered why a young kid with alleged talent couldn't get into a Leeds Championship squad that needed creative players, including a no.10.

It felt like an underwhelming signing at the time and on face value a bit of a lazy one.

But having seen him and learned a little about his pedigree I think it could be a masterstroke at £1.5m, if the rumour is true (it's likely to be given the source is The Athletic).

He'd be a steal at that fee.

He clearly has talent, works hard, now he needs a run in the team to get his match fitness up and start to pick up experience.
 
1.5m seems a very good price to be fair. I'd say he's arguably worth that already, if he has a good season we could be in the enviable position of selling him for significant profit next summer having only just signed him :)
