Scott Parker

I'm sick of our manager being among the bookies favourites every time a job vacancy comes up. Sometimes this is beyond your control and there's not much you can do about it but in our circumstance its clearly as a result of the Wilder/Burnley saga. Its obvious the bookies see Wilder as lacking commitment to his role and his tenure here is not built on solid ground. A well handled press conference at the time would have stopped all of this.
It’s not because of the Burnley thing it’s because he’s a good football manager.

I'm shocked wilder hasn't commented on this, it's been nearly an hour since it happened and no word that Wilder isn't interested.
He never clarified his commitment after Stoke either. Shocking, mans a fraud, Wilder out!

Wait just realised he's booked into get a Boro badge tattooed on the his derriere on Friday morning after the club give him 3 new players on their knees begging him to stay and reject big bad Bournemouth!

Poor manager, terrible brand of football.

Many of their fans wanted him out even when they were in the Top 2 last season, so most of them will be pleased.

Dyche is the new Curbishley. Every job that comes up his name will be in the mix. Dyche has a very contented life up in Lancashire by all accounts - Bournemouth is a world away from there but they do have a seemingly very rich Russian owner and cash talks.
Dyche has never lived in Lancashire, other than sharing a flat with Ian Woan. He continued to live in Nottingham all the time during his time at Burnley.

There’s plenty wrong with Parker, he’s been told what the job is and he’s coming out and not aligned to strategy
I didn't say there's nothing wrong with Parker, I said I didn't think there was anything wrong with what he said. I admired his brutal honesty, and I'm sure many of their fans did too. He was simply saying that if they didn't improve their squad they will get drubbed again and again. Don't think anyone can argue against that. They've hardly signed anyone yet expect to be competitive in the Premier League, when 3 of their 4 matches have been against Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool.

Poor decision for me. He got them up and played 4 games. 3 of them against Arseal Man C and Liverpool. No one would have expected them to get anything from those games. The other game was against Villa which they won.
Looking at those 4 fixtures at the begining of the season I don't think many would have expected anymore points.

Totally disagree, in my view the link is nothing whatsoever to do with the press sensing Wilder lacks commitment and everything to do with the fact he's a very good manager with a decent record. He will always be linked with jobs higher up football pyramid as he's got a fantastic record and reputation in the game.

It's a positive as far as I'm concerned as no one wants sh*t football managers but lots of people want a good one. Same goes for players, if they are good then other people will be interested. The time to worry is when no one would touch your manager or players with a barge pole.

He's not well liked Scotty P on here.

I think the fixture writers have stitched him right up. Any other time of the season and you're expecting 0 points from his last 3 games.

In football unfortunately only certain managers can speak honestly and frankly. He signalled to his pay masters and they didnt like it. I'm sure the payoff with help him sleep better tonight.

Owners have obviously panicked when they've seen the fight Nottingham Forest and Fulham have put up so far.

Pah. Never had him in the Sack Race!

Given that he won the only game that he had a realistic chance of winning and got beaten off Arsenal, City and Liverpool you'd say he had done as well as anyone could hope. He must have p!ssed off the owners I guess.
