I don't think balancing the books is particularly important just now. I don't think we budgeted on this bid coming in at this time, and wouldn't have spent on Azaz if we were that desperate.
Yet as long as we're in this division, selling a player a year seems likely. This may put us ahead of the game for Summer. I don't know how much Rogers cost, but 3-400% profit on a player who sigend 6 months ago, and was written off as not good enough 3 months ago, doesn't feel like bad business.
I don't really think we'll go up this season, so I'm not necessarily in a rush to spend any incoming this window; only if the player/value is there.
On the whole, I'd rather hang on too, but we've learned that no one wins when they hang on to a player who wants to go; from what I've heard, he is interested in going to the PL and being closer to home.
