Serious question who would replace Carrick?

Nathan effing Jones. Seriously? No you must be joking. Please tell me you are.

I just feel wrong even reading this thread as Carrick is going nowhere.

Why is it a poor post? It is relevant and asking the question if he gets sacked who do you replace him with?

I think he deserves until October.

It's wayyyyyy too early mate ..
Even to suggest it at this stage seems appalling in my opinion
He has not been able to sign 1 " star " replacement and lost 4 absolute stars although dieng looks quality.

Its just too early red lips.

He has to be given a full season to see what he can do surely to christ

‘After a wide and thorough recruitment process we are delighted to announce the management duo of Steve Agnew and Barry Robson, we have watched their progress at Aberdeen and believe they are the right fit to take the club forward and work under head of football Kieran Scott. Steve brings a wealth of experience but no knowledge and quality apart from he’s great at getting the balls in the bag in seconds and Barry is a mad jock who had a decent left peg’.

I dont want him sacked far from it but if he doesn't change tactics and we keep losing then what

Bloke in the social saying we should move heaven and earth to get Graham Potter 😂 Absolutely 0 chance.

It’s been a recurring theme with the last three managers so I don’t think it’s them that the problem. I’d like Carrick to stay and put it right. But if he left, I’d love Liam Rosenior.

Not a bad shout for a future manager to be honest.

Rosenior that is. Potter is fantasy stuff

Sad to say, but, if MC is sacked or walks I would put money on Gibbo giving the job to his mate Woodgate until the end of the season as a starter.
I hope im wrong, but I am concerned how much input he has now in team selection etc.
Announce League 1 if that happens.

Sarina Wiegman or Emma Hayes or more seriously René Meulensteen knows the Aussies and the Netherlands

We should be backing MC to the hilt to turn it around. Been a massive upheaval in the squad with a lot of the new players needing time to bed in and find their feet. We can't keep sacking managers - I'd like to see us mix up our tactics a little more but on the whole I believe Carrick is the man even if this season is a bit of a "transition" season.

If MC isn't up to it. I can do this for us all lads, ill even continue to post on FMTTM throughout our meteoric rise

I wouldn't this season. We've had far too much of that. If it did happen though, Graham Potter would be my choice.

No one. We need stability. I think a lot of Boro fans thought we would walk this league after last year's shenanigans. MC needs time to build and I for one would happily take no promotion if needs be.

I don't want him to leave or be replaced I think he needs time and we need patience. If I could make any changes at this point with the transfer window closed then it would be an experienced and previously successful assistant manager(somebody along the lines or pedigree of Mike Phelan) to freshen things up and give Carrick the experience to fall back on and guide him out of the current predicament with fresh ideas.

Potter’s Chelsea salary probably wasn’t far off our full squad and management put together. I think that one might be a stretch.

sorry fellas I think we've made our bed on this one and we'll just have to lie in it until this ugliness is over. Carrick is replaceable we all know that but the new lads need to be given time to bed in, this includes the likes of O'Brien etc who haven't had a chance to breathe.
